Dear Members,
By now, you should have received a letter informing you of a change to an outsourced accounting firm for our day to day bookkeeping. Going forward, HOA Accounting Services, Inc. will be who you reach out to regarding any questions with your account.
The Board determined that although we have had phenomenal volunteers for our accounting over the history of the association, it is in the best (http://www NULL.sequoyahhome NULL.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/desktop-with-laptop-calculator-notepad-and-graphic-957671044_1256x838 NULL.jpeg)interest of membership to hire outside support. As time has gone by, the California compliance burden on our HOA has increased exponentially and it is simply not possible to do our accounting in-house going forward.
HOA Accounting Services will be distributing the 2018 – 2019 annual billing statements to the membership at the end of September. Owners will have the ability to access their account information and pay assessment using an online portal. You should have seen a direct debit form provided with your info letter in the recent mailing, about June 25, 2018.
